Happy Anniversary to the animated version of The Jungle Book! I enjoy this movie. It was released in October 18th, 1967. The 19th animated film from Walt Disney Animated Studios, released after Walt Disney's sudden death in 1966. Zootopia has Jungle Book references. The bears scratching their backs against the trees in the Naturalist Club is similar to Baloo.
And Idris Elba who voiced Chief Bogo voiced Shere Khan in the new Jungle Book. I hope for Zootopia 2 they can get the other Jungle Book voice actors to join, like Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Scarlett Johansson, and maybe Christopher Walken. Happy Anniversary, Jungle Book of 1967!
